Description
Last Thursday, April 11th a very good friend of mine passed away suddenly of a heart attack at the much-too-young age of 33.
He was the best kind of person you could ever ask for - funny, cheerful, kind and caring, and always there to lend a hand, or to listen and help you through any troubles you might face. I've never once spoken to him that he didn't make me laugh - and I've never seen him in a bad mood. He ALWAYS laughed and carried on - no matter what was happening.
I've only had the honour of knowing him for about a year and a half, but he is someone who I will remember forever. He was the first person to offer me a place to stay when my wife left, and the first person to offer me a couch to put my head on should it be overly stormy some night when I got off of work and didn't want to chance driving home. He even let me store some of my stuff in his shed when I moved.
He lived next door to my work, and everyone over there thought the world of him, his wife, and his two children.
It was truly a privilege to have known him, and all my thoughts and sorrows go out to his family and children. He will be sorely missed.
So here's a tribute to you, Brad - may the Ferryman guide you safely on your passage to the afterlife! Love you, buddy, and I'll miss you dearly.
