Moobs for Fawnikins by Thyranq Moobs for Fawnikins by Thyranq
A little something to appease Fawnikins [link] in her quest for more 'moobs' :)

So here's Rob, with all his moobiness exposed. It also doubles as a play with DimensionTheory's new "Interjected" product that I nabbed up when it was released (which is awesome, by the way).

It's not 'perfect' - just a play around with it before diving right in, but I liked it enough to post it up here :)

Rendered in DS4, no postwork.

Nice work bro, your main man never looked so good ;)

But Rob can't have bitch tits - he gets too much action! :P
A guy who gets that much action can't have bitch tits, even if he wants them - there's too much activity!! :P

Thanks bro ;)

Thanks a lot, buddy :)
I love this Interjected set - definitely one of the best purchases I've made :)
I'm sure this'll end up with me doing countless amounts of fiddling with SSS and stuff in my quest of learning :)

Absolutely welcome, friend! I agree it's a nice set, though not the settings I would use and it's pretty useless to those who already know what they're doing. I simply bought it just to see what kind of settings he's got, apparently they're for using in dark lights. Honestly I have no clue why he set speculars so bright, needed my sunglasses the first time I test render, even with a spec map applied LOL! Not to mention the SSS was too bright and red/orange, mean while the SSS map made the tummy glow way more then anything else... odd. I don't use spec maps or SSS maps though, I just turn the settings down and let the lights & bump settings do their natural things, in my opinion and experience, they're nothing but "limiters" and most look funny, unless I'm missing something technically useful about them.

DT's Interjection is definitely useful for learning though, it gets people to actually dig in the surfaces and look things over lol.

Oh Rob...why u so pritty?

Hahaha thank you! All donations of moobies gratefully accepted lol. But marvellous moobies aside, this is just a fantastic render! I saw that injection thing at daz but I didn't understand what it was for, so it regulates SSS or something? This render is just fantastic, it's probably the most photo-realistic I've ever seen and I've seen some pretty good ones of Rob.

Thanks a lot :D

I was all set to do a full-body one of Marie and then I thought "Nope, I'm gettin Rob in for this one - just for Fawnikins :D "

The Interjection set is a set of SSS maps for V4, M4, and V5. It also comes with a whole bunch of (FREAKING AWESOME) eye reflections that set the eye surfaces up to look more like real eyes - they look wet, but not from gloss :)

It's pretty easy to use - this set I just loaded up, fired in one of my light sets, positioned the lights, and rendered. The first render was a bit too reddish in the face and stomach, so I dropped the SSS intensity for the SkinFace, SkinHead, SkinTorso, and Nipple down to 70% - and that's what you see here :)

It's well worth the full-price, as far as I'm concerned - and it's still on sale, which is a STEAL if you want to grab it. $7.98 US until 11:59pm Dec 5th DAZ time (which is, at the time of my typing this, approximately another 34 hours) :)

Glad you like it :D

OH thanks for explaining that to me! I saw it the other day but I honestly couldn't understand what it was for. HSS is still a bit of a mystery to me but I found some excellent settings Jamminwolfie left on a post the other day and they actually worked hahaha. I'm still struggling with SSS so yeah, I'm keen to try and learn more about it lol. Ima grab that new pack hahaha :D And thanks for the 'Rob', you guys rock hahaha I love all these moobie pics!!!

No problem ;)

SSS is something I haven't play around with much, either - mostly because I didn't have any SSS maps, so when I saw this product it was a pretty instant sale :D (actually, the first time I looked at the promo images was while I was downloading it after I was checked out lol - SSS maps by DimensionTheory = instant sale for me :D )

The eyes alone are worth the sale price ;)

One thing about the product, though, is that your characters will pretty much NEED a decent Specular map for this to work its true magic. If you've got any of the Elite characters, I usually just plug in their Spec maps to 'normal, non-elite' characters - does the trick most of the time - the rest of the time it just takes a bit of fiddling with the specular settings.

Lighting plays a HUGE part in it, too - mainly in that your lights NEED to be using Raytraced Shadows (which my sets, do - and they work pretty great out-of-the-box with Interjected, so you've got something to work with there ;) )

If you need any more help with it, don't hesitate to ask. Toadz has the product as well, and has been fiddling around with it fairly extensively, so if you post a question either I'll answer it, or Toadz will ;) - unless neither of us know, then it'll be a learning experience for EVERYBODY! :D

Thanks!

Yeah the 'Interjected' product uses SSS maps for the entire body - which is the best experience I've had with SSS in DS so far lol :)
